Music students have had a wonderful start to the term working with renowned singer/songwriter Steve Wade in a number of songwriting workshops held at BHSSC in the first week of term.  Some wonderful songs were written and they are sure to feature on our 2016 Music CD.

This project is funded as part of the State Governments' Advance program. It involves the Year 12 BHSSC music students utilizing the knowledge gained at these initial workshops to conduct their own song writing workshops with students at Box Hill North Primary School.  During the one day visit to Box Hill North Primary School, students will write and perform six songs.

Steve Wade's accomplishments include lead vocals for The Little River Band, winner of the Australian Songwriter of the Year award twice, producer of the 2001-2007 Neighbours theme and writing and producing many TV jingles.

Below is just some of the magic that was created!
